How do you ask a woman to model for you (clothed or unclothed) without creeping them out and let them know your intentions are strictly professional. Would you feel flattered or offended? Does moeny make a difference?

I've modeled before, and been approached to work with particular photographers in the past. The best way to go about this is to tell them you're interested in working with them, show them your portfolio of previous work (if available) and give them your card, and express interest in seeing any previous work they've done (in other words, ask to see their porfolio, if they have one). Leave it up to them to contact you if they are interested - be genuine and honest, and things should work out. Good luck!

One-on-one inside someone's house is creepy. First talk to them about modeling for an art class or something, at a university. Then they will know it's on the up-and-up. Most women will not even consider doing it nude. The environment matters a lot. Ask her to model for you in a public park with clothes on. Since it's in public, there's little risk of non-professional behavior. Do it in the morning to make that even better.

I'm sure that with most women, intent makes the most difference. Try offering your resume and your intent for their photos/drawings. Keep your approach on the business/professional end. I'm sure if you come off as professional and serious, you will find many women flattered. You will also find many women very skeptical at first.

It's all in your APPROACH man!! Start off the subject with a good LEAD-IN line, like,...."Excuse me, I am an experienced professional photo artist ("photographer" makes some chicks cringe when a dude is talking about himself) Photo ARTIST who takes pride in utilizing every aspect of creating outstanding ART through the gift of photography. I have an event coming up that requires a classy professional female model...it pays well, that is if you are interested..."(give her your card) Don't let her answer you yet... " think about it..," you say, "and please let me know by ____- Like I said, it pays well, and I think You'd be excellent..(avoid words like "Perfect") Tell her it pays $20 an hour clothed or topless, $100 an hour nude-- but tell her that the main focus of your work is in the actual values of the aspects of Photography as an art-- the lighting, the lens, the hue, the mood, AND IT HAS to be CLASSY------she'll do it- just don't lack confidence-- make good eye contact, and believe in yourself.....( go on, practice in the mirror!) and GOOD LUCK!!

I think money, a business card, a professional looking location and equipment would all help. If you invite her to go pose in your apartment for free, its sure going to look like you have bad intentions.
