Also, I dont need any smart a** answers from middle agers. Answer the question sincerely or go away. General Rule: If you are over 16, do not answer this question.

I feel for you ,dude. My parents wouldn't give me allowence for a long time.Do what me and my friend did.I know you've probably done this but ask your parnets if "I can do work around the house for money.I sware I'll keep up with chores and make the best Grades possible if I get(howevermuchmoney) a week.If I can't do my chores and do right in school,I get no money. How does that sound?"
And if they give you any of that,"Well heres your payment!Loook!Look seee that! Its a roof over you head!"
Just make it clear that you ARE grateful for the things they do for you ,but you would really like to earn some money.Be reasonable,no matter how unreasonable they might-wait no no WILL
get.
If all fails,do odd jobs around the neighbor-hood.

May God be with you dude.

I will say this, I am very often unable to give my teenagers any money, I've been trying to make ends meet for years now, and it is not very often that I have money to spare for them.

If this is not the case in your home, I can not answer as to why your parents are treating you this way and I feel for you.

Many times, parents react without stopping to think how they are coming across to their kids; myself included.

I do encourage my kids to put their feelings and their issues in writing so that they can let it all out, and we can deal with it with less fighting and shouting and lectures.

Have you considered talking with a school counselor to maybe get some ideas as to how to handle this?

Best of luck to you!

Do you do chores or help around the house at all? If you just take and don't give back you don't deserve an allowance. You are part of a family and you have to do your part too.

you're too young to get a job? hmm well that doesn't mean that you still can't get paid for stuff. like uhh mow the neighbors lawn for some money. or do things around the house.

Exhibit some responsibility by getting a job or doing volunteer work. Maybe if they see this new attitude, they will meet you half way.

i dunno why they do that. maybe its coz u have an attitude problem? im not saying you do, but if your always whinging and being rude to them, there not gonna wanna do much for you, try being nice.

ask them what you can do for an allowance. i bet ur mates dont get paid for nothing. ur parents wont pay you a cent if u arent doing anything, i know it sucks, but its either chores, or a job.
