I recently quit a stressful job to go and do something less stressful for work, now i realized i dont like that job and want to go back to my other job my old boss will take me back. How much notice do i give the new job?

Give them two weeks. But remember a winner never quits and a quiter never wins. So be like a postage and stick to what you are doing 'till you've reached your destination. Also remember that every job has his ups and downs and its pros and cons. That's why is called work not vacation. LOL Good luck!!!

Depends if you want to have them on your resume I guess. If you can risk burning the bridge, then go ahead and quit as soon as your old boss schedules you. Otherwise, the traditional two weeks notice is standard, and many times they will let you go earlier than that

typically the notice is 2 weeks. Will your old boss wait that long? If not give your two weeks notice and then call in sick if you have to.

You can do this at the cost of losing dignity and honor at both the places. Hope you have now understood that crows are black at all places and that grass is always green on the other side of pasture.
Since you will be on a probationary period, you can quit with 24hours notice, i think.

Notice should be equivalent to the amount of vacation time you receive in the position.

always give 2 weeks notice , if you have vacation days you can build those into it.
