I was so shocked yesterday when I realized I spend at least sixty minutes daily answering questions to people I don't even know! I just wonder why people join this site and what are the benefits. Please answer those two questions for me, for ten points (here I go again...)

Hours and hours, I lose track of the time. I joined last month, I went to ask.com to ask a question and it showed a similar question had already been asked, from then on I was hooked. As for benefits, I have found excellent answers to my questions. I also enjoy answering questions. If I already see a good answer, I will answer, but when it comes to voting I vote for that answer I had read.

I have know idea how much time I spend on here and I really don't want to know. :) I would say this has been a little addictive and I don't know why. Most of the questions I read on here are anti-God and that really bothers me.....something keeps pulling back in here.
Benefits? Helping, really helping someone, is a great feeling. If I can help just one person, it makes me happy to be here......:)

I spend a hour or so. It's an escape and I really hope some answers will help some one some where. I usually surf from one topic to the next and usually end up on a serious topic.

I know I think its so funny. I put my 2 kids to bed then sit infrount of this thing for ages a looking at strangers questions, now and then my husband will pipe up with a simple question from our lounge and I brush him off and tell him I`m buissey. I dont know if there are any true benifits for me except a hour or two silence.

I spend up to 5 hours on here.
I joined Yahoo!Answers by accident and never looked back.
My own personal benifits is that I hope that I have helped most of the people whose questions I have answered.

I have only been on here 3 times, but I stay about an hour I guess. It is fun to see other's questions, and I am puzzled by alot of them and their answers!
