Martin Luther King, Jr had a doctorate in Theology. He wrote sermons on a regular basis, and was one of the most gifted rhetoricians of the 20th century.
Having read several of King's books and most of his major speeches, there is a rhetorical style which is evident throughout and it is clear they were written by the same individual.

Yes and no.

There is some evidence that King plagiarized some parts of his more famous speeches. However I'm sure the bulk of the work was his own
