No. The ambient electric field, variations in that field (caused by any number of things, including buildings and funny-shaped people) and variations in the electrical properties of the atmosphere from one point to the next, etc, affects where lightning strikes (or what the upgoing leader sprouts from).

Its not the mirror you're holding or your nose ring that gets you struck by lightning - more likely, its the fact you're the tallest thing aside from a cow patty within a mile.

That...or perhaps you're standing near something relatively tall on an unlucky day.

I dont think so, but the lightining is an example of a particle beam.Metallic ions are the ones who could attract the lightning.

Mirrors have nothing to do with lightning. Lightning has nothing to do with mirrors.

I WOULDNT THINK SO.
USUALY LIGHTNING IS ATTRACTED TO SOMETHING WITH A GROUND. LIGHTNING IS JUST ONE HUMUNGUS STATIC CHARGE. TRY WALKING ACROSS YOUR CARPET GO INTO YOUR BATHROOM AND SHOCK THE MIRROR( NOT GOING TO HAPPEN). YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO SHOCK THE METAL AROUND THE MIRROR BUT NOT THE MIRROR ITSELF.
