If Abe was alive, he'd be 197 years old. I doubt he could figure out what's going on one way or the other.

Tough to say. If you look at history, the two were similar in their war decisions. Evidence can show that the Union actually "invaded" the Confederate States of America at the beginning of the Civil War. (It was the Union army that traveled to Fort Sumter...the Rebs opened fire at the sights of their ships strictly out of confusion.) However, we are all better for the actions that were taken back then. I fail to see where we are better for the actions Bush took in invading Iraq. Don't throw the "terrorists will get us" argument or the "WMD" defense at me, because they won't work with me. That's a whole different topic. If someone wants to discuss that, I'd be happy to.

All in all, I'd have to say that Abe would question the reasons for going to Iraq. Most of America is right now. However, he would defend him because he was a Republican, and the Republicans are most generally behind GW Bush no matter what. He might have some problems with it, but overall he would probably defend him in the end. Strictly my opinion.

I don't think that anyone in their right mind, alive or dead, agrees with bush.

No. Why care what Lincoln would agree with, though? He's dead.
