No. It is morally wrong to financially rape a grieving relative by over-charging for funeral services.
Cremation is sanitary, environmentally responsible, much, much cheaper, and if it's wrong morally, as you asked, what about all the saints who were burned at the stake by the Catholic church during the Inquisition because they disagreed with some of their doctrines?
I think it's a great idea!

The spiritual signature of the life-force of the person has left the body. The body was used to contain the life-force so it can experience life on this planet. Once the life-force leaves the body, the body is life-less. Cremating the body returns it to the planet. Moral values are for the living, not the dead.

I want to be cremated when I die for two reasons.
1. My son and family will not feel obligated once a year to go to my grave and put flowers there (Once I die, I'm not there anymore anyway).
2. Saves money. Being buried costs more than 3 times what it costs to be cremated.

It's much cheaper that buying a casket and having services and everything. Most people would opt for that so their loved ones wouldn't end up paying for the rest of their own lives for it.

My dad was creamated and we were able to leave his ashes in the place he loved best, where many living people visit to enjoy God's natural beauty instead of a lonely cemetary surrounded by other dead people.

There is nothing morally wrong about that. It is just like burning firewood.
