It's the way this war is being fought. The example you used is not politically correct. In other words, troops should get fired upon, then walk up the house, knock on the door and politely wait to be invited in. Then they should sit down and say, "Excuse me, but did someone in here just fire at us?" When the occupants say, "Oh no, no one here would so such a thing, we love America!". Then the soldiers should stand, shake their hands and apologize for interrupting their day. After that, they should walk out and get blown up by a child with a bomb strapped to them. Of course, that would be the soldiers fault for that poor child's wasted life, after all, if they weren't there in the first place, that child's parents would have had no reason to blow their child up.
I'm with you, if they get fired upon from a residence, that residence should become dust.

God bless the armies of USA, Gt Britain, Australia serving in Iraq Thru their dedication 2 duty, they've saved iraq from being a Taliban controlled anti christian country. Hussein & his mad sons would still be in power & Zarqawi would still be alive. As in all wars there're always civilian casualties. Isn't it ironic mad dog fanatics can kill thousands of there own people & hardly a word said but if a peace keeper accidently kills 1 it's big news around the world & he's labelled a murderer

Those who aid and shelter terrorists are terrorists also, and if a terrorist is blown up in their house and they die as well, then they got what they deserved. People can't harbor a terrorist and then complain that they got killed too; they are not an innocent civilian then, they are a legitimate target of war. If you throw your lot in with a terrorist they you accept the risk that goes along with terrorist activity. I have no sympathy with them.
A terrorists who hides among innocent civilians is a coward.

No you didn't kill innocents.
Rules of engagement were observed, you returned fire on someone who obviously wanted to kill you!
Soldiers that fought in Northern Ireland & I know a few.
Can identify with your experiences in Iraq.

Eddie, I don't think you will get very many answers because those who do not hold him responsible hate the United States. In
war, things (sic) happen.
