No, I don't believe that. After death, you can't have any "life" at all. But I've read that scientists have tried many experiments on this, though. Reports show that some people who had been "dead" (the brain still lived, but the heart stopped) when came back to life said that they'd been through a tunnel of light (like what you read). But eventually, scientists decided that's the affect of light going through your pupil when it's wide opens ('cause they're "dead", temporarily)

Religion does NOT play in any part of your death, so don't believe these Christian fanatics that will answer this question. The truth is that nobody really knows the answer to this. Maybe you are put into an eternal dream state, and everything you have been exposed to in life becomes your heaven or hell, hence the adage, hear no evil, speak no evil, tell no evil.

there is life after death and I believe in it, but not the official version
I do becuse it seems rather "odd" to me that we are the reason that the whole universe was made for, it is odd to believe that we came suddenly to this world and that we will go suddenly and then will go to heaven and stay there indefinitly. It just sounds foolish and beyond the power of resaon tht we have to believe such lame stories.
I see as reincarnation as one candle passing out its flame to another new candle, the new flame is NOT the old flame but the new flame WILL NOT HAVE HAPPENED if not for the old candle. Both are interconnected.

I don't know what country you live in but you probably should have complained to your principle about that teacher...
Here's the short answer... nobody - absolutely nobody - knows what happens after we die. There are a lot of guesses but guesses they all are. Some people surviving near-death experiences describe some sort of phenomenon but it's different for different people and highly dependent on your cultural conditioning.
Just remember that people who say 'I don't know about life after death' and people who say 'I can describe it in full detail' both have one important thing in common:
Neither of them actually _know_ what will happen.
When it comes, it will come. Worry about life _before_death.
