Will reaching orgasm contributes to the chances of pregnancy??? I had never reach my orgasm since having sex for half a year BUT I wish to get pregnany asap!!!

What is the chances (in %) of successful pregnancy if one is active having sex during the fertile period (ovulating)???

Some say that after having sex, it will be better to raise up both legs with a pillow @ your lower back so as to increase the chances of pregnancy. Is that true???

Some say that one should avoid caffeine (eg. coffee) after having sex so as not to affect the chances of pregnance. Is that true???

Basically. I feel cold easily so most of my friends say that my chances of getting pregnant will be lower as the womb will also be weak to produce "good" eggs or even can't provide a "good condition" for the sperms to survive for several days that they normally should. Is that true??? If so, any recommendation to improve my condition???

Consider this: Diet, exercise and REDUCING STRESS, and reducing the anxiety getting pregnant, see a doctor for any health issues such as being cold all the time.

Male Partner: It is very easy for him to get a fertility test. DO THAT ASAP, he definitely needs to chill out for the rest of his life, men get amped up over things.

Orgasm may have something to to do, since it improves your state of mind, but some women get pregnant holding hands. It is important and it takes two to work on this problem.

Diet: eat more greens, fruit and veggies, more salads, less dairy, Cut out the junk, absolutely no alcohol, no cigarettes, less meat 4-8 oz per meal, 3 small meals per day, less processed food, less refined carbohydrates (sugar, bread, donuts, chips, sodas), avoid anything with high fructose corn syrup.

Exercise: It you are young it's ok to work out until you are totally exhausted, dance, walk, run, (take care of feet and knees), swim

RELAX: This is difficult for some personality types. Turn off the TV and radio, no caffeine: tea or coffee or cola, don't argue, find things to do that make you feel good, read, take naps, cuddle without the pressure of performing with partner, sit in the park and do nothing but observe, Stress is a serious issue for general health. There's good stress and bad stress. An example of bad stress is vicious arguments, road rage. Be more accepting of things, conditions, differences, people, most of life doesn't matter anyway when you can’t change things, so don’t worry about it.

Check in with your state of mind once in a while. Ask yourself, “How are you doing.”

Religion: Pray for knowledge, understanding, and a child.

General Health: If you are cold, the above may improve things, but this may be diet, allergy, or some other condition for example diabetes, vitamin deficiency. See a doctor.

Many couples have this problem. Remember two people, not just you, so don't blame yourself. There is a ton of literature on fertility / infertility. Try Google.

There is no proof that reaching an orgasm helps to achieve pregnancy, though some dr.'s do believe it can help.Your muscle contract when you have an orgasm therefor some docs will say it causes a vacuum affect, but not proven, you can try it cant hurt, but have the orgasm with your partner or right after. The chances for a healthy couple to achieve pregnancy within a year is normal so the % is at/about 10% (12mos into a 100%). The pillow under your hips for 30 mins after sex with limited moving afterwards is proven to be true and can definitely work.If you go have an IUI done at the dr's office, they willl have you lay with a pillow under you hips for 30 mins or so also. Caffeine is known to "upset" hormones and also puts you at a higher risk for cysts. Remember caffeine is a drug and if you do fall prego, its harmfull to the baby. But not only after sex, anytime of the month caffeine should be avoided or kept to minimum even if you are not ttc. Being cold more than others wont affect your eggs or chances to conceiving, but make sure there is no medical problem underlying causing you to be cold i.e. poor circulation, underweight etc. Actually sperm lives longer under cold conditions thats why men are encouraged to wear boxers instead of briefs and avoid long hot showers or jacuzzi's. Besides you can feel cold and your body temp can be perfectly normal.Hope this helps good uck!!!!

Yes orgasms do help sperm to make their way into your ovaries since the spasms open your cervix wider and more sperm can get through. And yes you should raise up both legs with a pillow under your butt for five minutes to allow the sperm to get a chance to make it into your ovary. What you really need to do is figure out when you are fertile. There are various methods of doing this which you can find by searching online. Another way is to buy fertility testers from a drugstore. The look like pregnancy tests and will tell you when you are about to and when you are ovulating.

Chart your ovulation, have sex the day before, during, and the day after ovulation. Both you and your partner should lay off caffine, nicotine, and alcohol (whichever you do) for optimal chances. Eat healthy, well balanced meals. Yes, you and your partner both. It's not just up to you, it's up to him too. Having sex, do it missionary with a pillow under your hips. Do know, however, that even doing all of that some women won't conceive for months, and for some it could take up to a year. And don't worry about the cold thing. I get cold really easily, and I'm pregnant with my second child (from a one-time incident!)

Oh, btw, if you're trying, start taking prenatal vitamins now, or something with at least 800mcg of Folic Acid or Folate.

Jeez, relax. Have sex regularly, especially the three days before and after you ovulate. If you do this, you have an 80% chance of getting pregnant within a year, and 90% within two years.

i want to know how you find all these crazy friends to tell you this..
whats the hurry to get pregnant?
if you are both trying, don't worry about it, it will happen.
i was told that the only time you can concieve is 3 days before your period and 3 days after.
always count the days of when you start.
for me i had one every 28 days like clockwork.
try this.

All of this sounds silly. Sex causes pregnancy. Stop thinking and just have sex.
