the older I get the farther away old is. I turn 32 on Saturday, when I was a teenager I thought if you were 32 you should be in a nursing home. 43 is not old nor is 53. Its all a state of mind. You can be a young 43 or an old 43.

Since 40 is the new 30, 43 is the new 33, it's damn near 29!

43 is a number, young/old is all about how you act. If you sit back and do nothing and use your age as an excuse, then yes you are old. But if you get out, try new things, are active and have fun and friends, then you are never old.

Yes, 43 is old. Are ya happy now?

(I'd give my eye patch to be only 43 again.)

Old is a state of mind.
My husband is 9 years older than me and is constantly telling me how antique he is.

I don't think 43 is old unless you act like a ....conservative prat? Not sure what the right word for that is.

depends on who youask. i'm sure a 6 yr old would think that 43 is older than dirt, while an 80 yr old kill to be 43 again:-)

They say 40 is the new 30, but I think it's all in the head. If you think 40 is old, then yes you are old.

Old? For what? Riding tricycles maybe. Eating mashed bananas perhaps. But for everything else...nah. I know some pretty cool, and very attractive people in their 40's...it's a matter of state of mind
