If its like any other, there is a little notch you can pry it open at with a small screwdriver. That's how I got my wife's open. I got a new battery from Walmart.

Look at your clicker. There should be a slot cut out around its edges. Take a dime or quarter, put it in the slot, and twist it until it pops apart. Then the battery will be a small thin round silver one, can be replaced. Save your old battery so you can get the right one for it. Walmart, Walgreens, etc. should have your battery.

I don't know but I do know that the jacknife keyes are more addictive than heroine. I cant stop opening and closing mine.

a jewelry department is cheaper than the dealership. usually if you by the battery it is free, also cheaper.
