That's only my opinion, but for sure it's impossible. Ireland made is economic increasing by using the money of the EU in devaluating his imposition nivels, the 10 news commers can't received the same advantage because they are... 10. Ireland was alone in his position at this time. And, for sure, the British diplomatics pression to made Ireland more secure can't be applied in the case of the 10 news comers.

I suspect it will be hard for the EU to afford to operate a further ten countries following the Irish model and taking far more funding from the EU than they put in...

Sorry I don't know what you're talking about, all I know is that I wish we weren't in the EU... It causes more prooblems than it solves and it doesn't actually benefit us, citizens, only the government.
