My fiancee told me yesterday that he can't have babies. He has never went to the doctor and gotten this confirmed but apparently when he was about 12 years old, while playing soccer, he got kicked in the testicles. One of his testicles swelled up and he was in bed for three days unable to walk because of the pain. Eventually he healed up(his dad wouldn't take him to the doctor) and was fine. He can get erect perfectly fine. What are the odds that he is really sterile and is the procedure to find out really costly?

A kick to just one testicle, would be a low possibility that he is sterile, since he would have one that is not injured. The only way to know for sure is for him to get a semen analysis done.

At first I was going to say it sounds like he's setting you up for something but if he's willing to get the test done he may actually believe he is.

If cost is an issue you can actually do a home test kit. Yes there is a test kit for everything now days. Think it would be better to go to a clinic and get official results but not sure if his health insurance covers this test or not so...
