I have a laptop computer that I purchased with Windows 95. Can this still be used as an operating system? Also, can you receive and send emails and surf on it?

1 - Yes, you can use it
2 - Yes, it works on highspeed internet with a network card
3 - Yes, you can run internet explorer and outlook express for surfing and email.
4 - Yes, many software packages still support windows 95.

Microsoft is no longer providing updates for it but if you look at the information on the website below it should help you keep it secure and up to date as much as possible.

Have at it.

yes, but i suggest you upgrade to xp cause win95 will just give you headaches and frustrations. check first if your hardwares support winxp, else try win98, much better than win95. consult first someone who knows about computers.
