It kills the ozone layer and pollutes the water. WHen it comtaminates the water supply, it kills the animals that need it to thrive, killing the plant life in the water also hurts. The trees are effected by the ozone layer as well, killing plant life and destroying what they need to feed off of.

it affects these things because it contains harsh chemicals that hurt the above. pollution goes into water, it falls as acid rain, it's everywhere and harmful
