I can only answer for myself. I don't appreciate the use of Yahoo Answers as a pulpit. When I feel that someone is preaching, or trying to convert, then I tell them my views. Sometimes I go too far into some others who have legitimate questions, but not to the extent that some "people" have done on here. But any time the subjects of religion or politics comes up, it's bound to light a fire under some of us.

Thats a great question. Free societies have the ability to think and question authority. So when somone sees a contradiction in religion they are free to ask about it etc. But Religion, invented by man, is inherently full of problems and contradictions. So unfree societies must be controlled and not allowed to question authority or religion. That's why the most devout religious countries are also not free. If you give people the freedom they might just wake up and disagree!

It is just curiosity at its best. It should not bother Christians because it is a chance to spread the truth and here people can speak out with out any inhabitions. I personally do not people asking honestly about the existance of God as long as they do not cross the line of insulting His existance. Keep the questions rolling.

I do not know, but Antony Flew( a reknown) has now admitted that God exist. He does not believe in a "religious god" but a being who created the universe. There is strong evidence, including common sense that God exist.

Because the existence of god is very questioned in our society. Citizens of this country are not as brainwashed as other countries into religion and therefore question it as religion is a fictional belief.

Because there are so many annoying, hypocritical and self - righteous religious fanatics in the world, that the only joy I have in life is to be annoying, hypocritical and self-righteous right back at them. Oh, and their religion sucks.
