I went through that with all of my kids at that age. I kept a wet washcloth in the fridge for them. They loves playing with it and chewing on it! I also gave them the really hard beef jerkey! I know it sounds weird, but they loved that too! I believe in Motrin as well!!! Its a great pain reliever, and it helps reduce the swelling too, and it comes in an infant formula as well! Good luck!

Try baby tylenol to help with and fever and for his pain. Also, they have teething tablets that are all natural that help to numb a little. Usually you can find them at Walmart or any baby store or drug store. Also, during the day, freeze a banana and then give it to the baby to chew on. Just keep in mind, it is messing, but the baby will have fun and the coldness helps relieve the pain. And don't worry, the tooth will come in soon enough and stop bothering the baby. As each tooth comes in, the teething gets a little more bearable to the baby. Good Luck!!!

My son seemed to have a hard time teething, too. I found that tylenol and origel were my good friends. I also used a great trick with his pacifier. You can fill a pacifier with water. Just sqeeze the nipple closed and hold it under a stream of water. (the nipple will be down and the grip of the pacifier will be up ) While the water is striking the grip of the pacifier, release the pressure on the nipple. It will suck water inside. Now, just pop it in the freezer! We kept a steady stream of pacifiers running while my baby teethed. He would go from screeming to silent with the frozen paci. Good luck, and remember, "this too shall pass"!

Make some small ice cubes up using apple or orange juice and them him suck/eat them. It will help cool his sore gums and slightly numb them for a little while. (plus it can be used on top of any medicine)

It helped my friend's baby a lot when she was in a lot of pain (he'll probably pull a funny face at first if he's not used to eatting such cold foods)

Tylenoll helps my daughter. Try humpreys they come in a liquid form and tabs that desolve in their mouths. Hopefully this would help you out.
