It is not as uncommon as you think. Could mean anything from your marriage being in trouble to him simply wanting a good night's sleep. What does he say? What is your gut feeling?

Some spouses snore, so personally please go to the other room. HAHA! But seriously if he wanted to sleep in another room I would think that something is wrong. Sleeping together (in the same bedroom) is one of the benefits of being married. Otherwise you can call him your roommate and split the bills 50/50. As with an issue, talk to him and let him know how you feel.

I don't know. My husband won't even think about it. We got a new puppy in January and he barked for the first 3 nights. I took one couch and he took the other.
When I had surgery and could not sleep in the bed, he blew up an air matress and slept on in on the floor next to the couch I was on.
He won't hear of sleeping apart and I am glad...

My husband and i don't sleep together either. It's because he likes to watch golf all night long and i don't, so he sleeps on the couch and watches that boring s##t until he falls to sleep.
