Ronald Reagan took a country that had lost faith in itself, and made people hopeful and confident again.
Most importantly of his career, Ronald Reagan's strategy with the Soviet Union guaranteed the collapse of the Evil Empire. As Margaret Thatcher said in his eulogy, he "won the Cold War without firing a shot".
In poll after poll, people rate his Presidency as the best, or one of the best ever.
