You ask a very good question, and I believe ignorance is your answer. I believe that many people do not spend the time to actually research who they vote for, and then when the president (or any elected official) turn out to be bad, they complain about it even though they voted for him/her. The other reason is that people, more often than they should, vote along party lines. "If you're a Christian, you should vote Republican because of their views on abortion." That's the backwards logic some people believe. You have to vote the issues you agree with most, not the party lines. That happened in the last election, too.
I don't know if this really answered your question, but it's a little of what I think is wrong with people and politics.

Wierd stuff happens in history, it's not about what he did, but what his pundit supporters say about him. It's all in the propoganda baby. As far as what doesn't get reported, well, if it didn't happen on CNN or Fox News, it didn't happen right?
Bush has two people working in his favor that have kept him from facing a firing squad for the last 6 years. The first is Karl Rove (his soul may belong to Jesus....), and the second is Rupert Murdoch.
The first is a propoganda spin artist that would put Goebbels to shame, inventing such things as "swift boating" political opposition, by taking an obvious strength and using outright lies to debunk that strength.
Murdoch is a media empire tycoon that violently squashes or makes ridiculous any obvious facts or investigative reporting that could possibly expose the Bush malfeascence. He also gives credence to far right-wing and fascist leaning pundits, letting his Fox channel (with the highest rated entertainment shows) pose these psychotics as "mainstream" and "American values". Other major media conglomerates (including the owners of Popular Mechanics, Newsweek, and Time) have ties to or are owned by military-industrialists and government officials.
Take control of America's TV's and magazines, you have lady liberty by the balls.

To quote a corny movie.... A person may be intelligent, but people are stupid and prone to panic.
I don't think Osama helped his re-election. If you look back, you will find it was the Christian Right and his support of banning Gay Marriage that got him re-elected. Look now, and you will see that people are not willing to support a topic he let die right after he got re-elected. As far as 9-11, he did well... at first. (Don't get me wrong, I don't care for the guy.) But about 8 months later, he dropped that ball and went into Iraq. He starts off with good intentions and then drops them in our laps, giving us some poor excuses as to why he's doing it.

You are "OFF". You'll probably get as many responses as you expected after such an asinine statement. Everyone has a right to their opinion (at least we do here in the USA). I think you might just be wee bit jealous of us here. We live in the 21st Century here, not the latter part of the 20th. Our sun doesn't shine through a haze of fog, we shower daily, use deodorant, wash our hair regularly, use good dental hygiene, and wear clothes from THIS century. Our leaders might be naturally goofy but it's not from generations of INBREEDING. Have a nice week-end.
But do you take our money in an emergency? Would you turn it down? I don't even think your not an American. If your not, then MYOB!

Why would Bin Laden help get Bush back into office? Hell, everyone knows that Demoflats are anti-military. If Al Bore or John Ferry were elected the war would end, we would go back to the pre-9/11 denial, and the terrorists would become registered Demoflats. Geez...open your mind...

fools=no

Americans, Republicans and Democrats alike, tend to blindly follow their party, regardless of whether it's in their best interests, or the best interests or the country, to do so.
One thing helped GWB win in '04 - fear. America has become a nation living in fear: fear of terrorist, fear of gay marriage, fear of change. I was brought up to believe America was better than that.
edit:
I will say one thing in Kerry's defense - he put himself in harms way and fought for his country while GWB hid in Texas behind his fathers money. Swift Boat veterans did a dis-service to the nation they served and the uniform they wore by insulting a fellow veteran. I have no respect for them.
That being said, I had little to no respect for either of the candidates that were forced on us 2 years ago.

Some Americans are both stupid and fools. Just remember that not all Americans like Bush, but he is our President. He will be gone in two years!!!

With that being reported comprehend iraq is wanting to grow to be significant different they were merely talking about this the different day. significant different skill united states bases in IRAQ. IF Iran retains pissing us off im positive we are able to go there and do a similar. imagine about it sure its unhappy and unfortunit that we are in a conflict and human beings are dieing, yet on the up scale we are able to "once issues are completly less than administration" will be racking in on the oil gross sales and performance inexpensive heating, gas for automobiles and different buisnesses that run oil. Bush appears like a tard hell he does to me, yet after viewing issues taking a step decrease back and searching at it we are about to aquire a competent quantity of a similar resourse which will carry the greenback fee decrease back up and keep it inexpensive and cheap for buisnesses and human beings whopersistent. this may ensue be affected man or woman.

I see that most of what you are saying is true, but I didn't vote for him either time so I am less a fool then the 29% that still support him.
