I had a file in the my documents & i created a shotcut to that file in the desktop. I rightclicked the (shortcut) icon in the desktop then i clicked send to, then clicked mail recepient. After that i found no datas in the icon file & in the file which is in the my document.
But i want that datas. Plz help me.

if you remember the name of that file, go to search and look for the original file...if you have accidentally deleted the file, no problem, go to www.iolo.com and download their file deletion tool. Its free for 30 days. good luck

I just did EXACTLY what you described and the only thing that was sent was the actual "shortcut" which would be useless to anyone. My original document stayed exactly where it was in the "my documents" folder. You might want to look for it again!

try your temp file inside window and the refuse bin for a start.
If not you need to do a ghost recovery in dos, or alternatively try some of the online file recover software
