I doubt it will have much effect on the war in Iraq. A statement from Iraq: "We want to give you the joyous news of the martyrdom of the mujahed sheik Abu Musab al-Zarqawi". "The death of our leaders is life for us. It will only increase our persistence in continuing holy war so that the word of God will be supreme."

I think this is the best thing that has ever happened in the modern history of Iraq. Some complications may occur for a very short time then it's all back to normal but with DEMOCRACY present. Hopefully.

On the golf course this week I met a man who is serving over there. (He was home for some R&R) He told me that people expected this thing to be over WAY BEFORE NOW. But when you're trying to establish a constitution it just doesn't happen over night. I don't know how true this is but he told me that it took us 11 yrs to establish ours. So it could be that this war is far from over. Let's just try to remember the sacrifices being made and SUPPORT OUR TROOPS.

PRAISE GOD!!!!!!!! Unfortunately someone else will come forward and fill in for him, but I don't think it'll strengthen the insurgency. I pray this helps our troops to come home quicker and let the Iraqi's fight their own battle, amongst themselves....

Just the fact that he's dead is good enough.
Nobody thought we'd ever get him.
How nervous is Bin Laden today do you think?
