What is a good Electrode mixture for a Ground Rod? How deep do you need to dig for mixture to work effectively? Any other suggestions? How far should the nearst rod be for nuetral & ground connection for XO baseline at the load center?

Sonny too much is right plus if you have too poor soil conditions then another ground rod 6 feet away. Copperclad 3/4 inch x 8 feet is best.

The ground rod should be driven into the soil. Check with your local utility company to find out what length of ground rod you need. It will probably be 6 or 8 feet.The rod needs to be as close to the neutral bar as possible.
