Sorry, are you male or female? (Can't tell from your name.)

If you're a guy and your dad was screwing around with your gf, your family probably already has serious issues that should have been dealt with.

Aside from the fact he's a man having sex with a girl half his age (which usually shows some insecurity on his part, willingness to exploit someone barely into adulthood, and so forth), and the possibility he is cheating on your mom (if he is not divorced), he's a boundary violator -- he's saying your feelings don't matter, your relationships don't matter, he'll just take what he wants.

Unless the dad really forced the girl into it, she's also violating your relationship and should be dropped. The dad deserves a talking-to, so he understands what he's done to you, and the relationship is going to be damaged until he asks forgiveness and backs off.

If you're female, it's a little different (your father didn't steal your gf), but the rest of the violations did occur. You're probably upset with your dad for doing it, you're probably upset with your friend for doing it, and you don't want to have anything to do with either of them. (Reminds me of "American Beauty," and Jane's reaction to her father's lust for her friend.)

If he would cross the line there, I wouldn't be surprised if emotionally he has broken boundaries with you or simply not been there much for you. Don't know, though.

In any case, it's a similar response. Your friend deserves to know you're upset and want it to stop or your friendship is on the ropes; your dad deserves to know what he's doing to you, emotionally, and that your relationship will suffer if he keeps this up. And if he's cheating on your mom, then that's yet one more trust issue -- if your mom can't trust him, can you?

The last thing you should do is bottle it up or never mention it, though. Wait until you get a grip, so you can talk about it constructively, but if you don't face him at some point, you will either harbor anger for years or just withdraw from him completely, losing your father in the process.

How do you feel about it?

Break up with my GF. Have a long talk with my Dad. And distance myself from both of them for a while. After a cool down time I would try and resume a relationship with my dad, but never the GF. Wow, what a terrible thing to have to deal with.
If this has happened to you I am so sorry, and will pray for you.
It wouldn't hurt to get some counseling also as this can be very devastating. If your mom and Dad are still together you should tell her what happened, if not she will drive herself nuts trying to repair the relationship between the two of you and trying to figure out what happened. Pray about this. God Bless you.

in some places thats just a form of greeting, but if you dont live in a place like that, im thinking you need a new girlfriend and no presents for dad on fathers day.

I would break up with the gf and then scream at both of them and go stay at a hotel. Why did it happen to you?

Chalk it up as a life lesson and move on. And don't bring your new girlfriend home to meet the family.
