The easiest way to remove car registration stickers is with a heat gun and razor blade. With a little patience it will come of in one piece. Use methyl alcohol to clean the remaining glue off.

use a multi-purpose remover. The best that I've found is called"OOPS",you just pour a little on a rag and it will pretty much just wipe right off.It takes a minute or two to start penetrating through the sticker but all you have to do is wipe lightly in a circular motion. Its alot easier than using a razor blade. You can buy it at any hardware store, home depot, and even wal-mart and is not expensive at all.

I had to use a razor blade, one with the edge you can hold onto. I also got a hold of it with pliers to pull it off after getting it loose...Good luck
