You have sinus problems.. very common to have it

You need to go to a doctor and tell him you have sinusitis, and he'll give you something to relieve the pressure

What happens is that normal people have pockets of air behind their nose ( sinuses ) that expand and contract depending on the pressure around you head.. people with sinus problems have those cavities filled with mucus so when they contract because of more outside pressure, it creates pressure inside your head giving you a headache

If after you visit your doc you still ahve it.. blow your nose reaaaally hard before you go underwater.. this will relieve some of it

It is just the pressure of the water. It is probably your ears that are effected which will make it feel like your head wants to explode.

Deep sea divers have to endure years of training to go deeper into water because of the pressure. Try staying up the shallower end for now or ask at your pool if there are any type of plugs you can put in to relieve some of the pressure.
You are just sensitive!!

Well, I love swimming, and i'm also a scuba diver, what that could be from is the temperature of the water, if the water is quite cold then that could be a reason... it could also have something to do with your ears....if you go deeper in the pool then you may feel pressure near your ears- try to equalise (hold you nose and mouth closed and blow and your ears might feel a bit like a pop. But if its to hard (to equalise), then go to your family doctor and tell him about it. Or you can also contact a diving instructor and maybe they could help. Its also possible what 'carolinayaya' said about sinuses or maybe it could be that you getting a cold...whatever it is, found out from someone with more knowledge of stuff like that.
Hope it gets better.:-)

swim w/o a cap for 10 mins. and see how you feel. you might wanna see a doctor if it happens often. but it could also depend on the water temp. or the temp. in general. or you might be underwater far too long.

It's nothing serious, it happens to lots of people. It just means your sinuses can't take the pressure of the water. It's nothing to see a doctor about.

there is frequently someone who tries to be the do-gooder or hero, and brags about, "i visit make it! i'm particular i visit! do not ignore, I ran the single hundred meter sprint in blah blah" and finally ends up getting killed. alongside with horror shows, i'm getting a kick out of those tacky disaster videos to boot. have you ever stated, it isn't suitable if the international round them is about to blow up, they always locate time to sneak in that one very last kiss or romp interior the bedroom.
