If you are looking for a serious answer (LOL) ... The computer will work fine ... it will just not have Internet/network connectivity.

Your computer will work normally without connecting to a network. If you want to share drives and get network connection, then that part will not work until you network your computer. If you plugged in your network ethernet connection, then just add a network in your start menu and follow the directions. Whenever you log on, it should connect automatically as long as you are connected. Check your "network connections" to make sure you are connected. Your network drivers and directories should appear in that list as long as it is shared.
