as far as I know Kanuni is a set of laws somewhere from 15 -16 century, these were customary laws, I believe they were never written and became official laws in Albania (but I could be very wrong), they just passed through generations.

the most famous part in this law (or set of laws is the way how to treat murder -- it was often in Albania that the family of a killed person has the right to kill every single man from the family of the murderer.

and Leke Dukagjint was the Albanian prince to whom are this laws (kanuni) are attributed to.
