Actually, anything that will "kill" a plant, I would NOT want under my fruit trees!!
Lets face it, when the water permeates the soil and takes this "chemical" down, into the roots...
Guess what? It comes up into the TREE!! Then, it goes into the FRUIT!!...
I NEVER USE ANYTHING LIKE THAT AROUND MY FRUIT TREES...
I wish you well..

Even though it is a contact vegetation killer you can get "drift from the spray and that can kill some on the foliage.
You can use it in small amounts if you must, But if you over do it the tree can be harmed !. Just don't over do it !.

Perfectly safe (as long as you don't mind losing your fruit trees.)

My parents and neighbors used it.Round-Up is an oil based insecticide that covers the leaves and thus prohibits photosynthesis.
the neighbor used it under his peach trees to stop Kikuyu from growing there.and his peaches always came out fine.
We even made jam out of them one year!!
