I am going to Krakow in September with my 2 sisters. We are around 40 years old and want to spend a "girls only weekend" over their. We will arrive about 11 pm and are looking for a hotel in the center of the city. It should be clean, safe and not too expensif. We would prefer to have a room for 3 people. Who can can recommend a hotel ? Many thanks for your help.

Hi
August and Sep is the peek season in Krakow. Finding a hotel for a weekend would be difficult. I go there very often and know the situation with the hotels. I recommend try www.dlitravel.com They are based in Krakow and have got very good prices for good hotels. You can get 3 nights Hotel and flights from London for £252.

I've stayed in Krakow 4 or 5 times- and I'd choose the Holiday Inn downtown. Sounds un-exotic, but it is very clean, safe, has an elavator, and the BEST breakfast included with the room. I think it is good value.
