this all depends on how strong you are but if its for a regular high school game the bat should be a -3 so it would prob have to be a 32-29 another thing with the ppl saying -6 that is wrong if it is high school it has to be a -3

Its called a "Fungo" bat, coach... Im kidding... Seriously, you need a negative -8 but you cant use those in high school where Im from... If you have to use a -3, Easton and DeMarini have a couple excellent baseball bats out right now... Problem is, there anywhere from $250-$350...

stand up the bat so one end of the barrel is on the ground and hold the nob of the bat in your hand you should have your arm just about fully extended and the other sid eof the bat should be on the ground. for highschool i dont remmeber i think the most it can be is -6 but im not sure.

high school?
you should probably go with a 31 inch 28 ounce bat.
they probably make lighter ones but anything shorter than 31 inches is just not good enough to cover the entire hitting area.
this is just my expirience, and if you have the wrists to swing a regular 33" (what I use) then go for it.

in high school, you are allowed to use big barrels, so go to your local sporting good store and ask to see big barrels, because in high school with the speed the pitchers throw and the speed of your bat, you are more likely to get bigger/better hits and some homeruns

Try a Wood one. Do not use the metal bats. Torque on them is horrible.

31 inch and 23 ounce if you want a nice swing. Get a TPX or Demarini
