what will you expect from a government?

Government should be free from bias, bigotry, religion, fair and honest. In the last few years I had had the opportunity to meet many candidates, congressmen, senators, former Presidents, Governors and many local politicians. The number that are truly honest are few.

After the way our country has been run for the last 6 years, I expect nothing until we elect a new president. Even the screaming candidate in 2004's election would have been better than Bush for another 4 years.

Wouldn't it be wonderful to have a country that thinks of it's citizens first and foremost? One that eliminates the national debt and actually taxes people who have more at a higher rate? Who didn't think that the people in this country are stupid and easily led around by their noses. O, wait a minute, sounds like a Democrat to me!! Well one can dream can't one?

To be honest and fair with all. To treat everyone the same, just as they'd like to be treated. To keep their promises, and do as much good for the people as they possibly can. To do away with our unacceptable so called legal system-that's anything but legal, and put us one together that work's the same for all, not just the ones with lot's of money and power.
