There is a saying that "Peace begins at home". I believe that to be true.
We must begin our search for peace within ourselves.
When we fully understand our own strengths as well as weaknesses,
then we can be sensitive to the talents and needs of all others.
When we can be at peace with our own beliefs and not feel threatened by the beliefs of others,
then we can begin to understand the spiritual vastness of our soul, and its position in the universe at large.
When we can clearly discern between good and evil within ourselves,
then we can look with empathy upon the deeds of others.
When we can see all of the world's people as our own family;
mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, sons, daughters,
then we can be at peace with our own position.
Then we can be of assistance in the world.

Now, let's play some footie!!

No! I don't believe that any sport can bring peace and tolerance to the world. Just look at some of the fans who are merely trouble makers, and they cause riot and trouble wherever they go. Also the teams compete for championship, so how can there be tolerance? But such kind of games do bring some people money though.

the answer to world peace and tolerence is to 'forgive'. once you have forgiven whoever has hurt you your life will change for the better and you will know peace,people believe that if they forgive someone that person 'gets away with what they have done ", not so .they still have to account for all they have done to their maker and you don't have to tell them you have forgiven them ,you are doing it for yourself so you can have peace
