"tanashin"is an ideology or supernatural thing like God.
this is made much of by small numbers of people participating in"2ch BBS" ~ a huge BBS in Japan.
Guidelines for "tanashin" define it as follows
something that controls the World.
an ideology which forms the World.
mind of human itself. ect.......
In threads about "tanashin" in the BBS, people express the situations which they think are "tanashin" by Ascill Art Pictures with words "tanashin". and some others do that on verval.
they can't understand or express what "tanshin" is exactry.
and are seeking "spiritual awakening" like Budda.
and are intoxicated with doing so.

A tsunami is a "shock front" of water, not a wave,it is generated by a tectonic plate shift under the sea causing a large 'sea quake' the force generated by the quake is enormous,imagine a massive explosion, the air is compressed by the explosive force into a solid front that does all the damage! Well a tsunami is similar,exept water cant be compressed,but it can be moved,and at tremendous speed, even faster than sound! Huge volumes of 'shocked water move out from the epicentre under the surface until it reaches shallowing water, the leading edge is then forced up by the pressure of water behind it onto the land and , well, youve seen the results!
