Yes, it is possible but not recommended. Your uterus needs time to heal as well as yourself. They say 6mths after a DNC is the best time to start again. Your uterus needs time to thicken. The earlier you get pregnant after a DNC, the higher chance you have of a miscarriage. With a thin uterus it is harder for the egg/embroy to attach itself and stay attached. If you already are pregant just be extra careful and you may want to consider bed rest.

You can get pregnant the next day providing you ovulated. Now ask if is is advisable. The answer to that is no. YOu need time for the utereus to heal. To thicken up. if you get pregnant now, your chances of miscarriage are greater. Since you will be going to your doctor soon anyway (usually 10 days after the procedure) ask him how soon it can be before you resume sexual activities. He is your greatest source of information.

The human body is a wonderous thing - yes, you can! Most docs would not recommend having sex so soon after a D&C. They usually ask you to wait unitl 4-6 weeks afterwards. Good luck to you!
