My second child was a "grunter". Since his older brother never did that, I was concerned. I asked his pediatrician about it, and it's perfectly normal and harmless...just his way of communicating. :) It'll stop eventually. I think my son stopped grunting completely when he was about 3 months old or so.

My second was a grunter. For about 7 months. But she got over it. I think it's just their personality. Maybe how they're talking to you. She would do it a lot when she was playing. It's nothing to worry about. It gets annoying, but it will pass.

my child was a grunter and even at the age of 2 and a half, he still does it... its a fase, and it will eventually pass.. its their way of telling you that they dont want what is being offered, or they arent happy... some times it can be just for the fact its a noise....
