Do you mean 'fantastic' literature to be i) great literature or ii) fantastic as in the, say, Todorovian sense. Unless nuanced unusually by ithe second sense I'd say the case is rather the other way round... fantastic literature is a subset of metaphysics.

my belief is that metaphysics can certainly GENERATE fantastic literature, but is not in itself literature it is a philosophy exploring the concept of the what/how/why of human perceptive reality.
