be happy with who you are. the rest when you love yourself, will fall into place.

people think it is material things, or money that make people happy, however, it is the things that cannot be bought that are the most valuable.

love, health and happiness. they are not things...they are everything. you can't hold them, or buy them, they just are.

Consider the recent statistics on TV consumption. According to the first national study in 1995 on how Australian families spend their time, young people, single parents and couples without children spend as much or more time watching television and listening to music each week as they do earning a living. Would you believe that the average 75 year old would have spent 12.5 years of his or her life watching television? “That’s actually a moderate estimate,” says Dr. Aric Sigman, Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. “That is 12 and a half years of 24-hour days watching television, and at the moment, in the UK and the US, the average 11-16 year old is spending 53 hours in front of a screen ... that’s 7 and a half hours a day, so if you combine TV with DVDs and computer games, you’re talking about a full working day.”

Every day must be started with daily devotions. When you open your eyes, look at the good around you, and I do hope you can see good. Look at nature on your way to work/school. Look at those you know. When problems occur, pray that the answer comes. Do not expect things out of life or from anyone. Give to others and listen to others. Remember that most people are not concerned with what you have to say, they are more interested in what they want to say. The list goes on. Good luck.

I've found much greater satisfation if you stop your instinct to covet.

The intellegent and aggressive marketing that surrounds us is specifically designed to make us want more, and never be satisfied with what we have.

As soon as you recognise these things never make you happy, and just lead to more wanting, you can find a lot of satisfaction in just the simple things you already have, and only the things you really need.

Understand that this is a one shot deal and make the most of it. Don't waste it on the petty stuff. Make the most of each moment and live and love like there is going to be no tomorrow.
If you knew you were going to die tomorrow what would be your regrets? Watching too much TV instead of spending time with your family and friends;getting ticked off about the little things; getting mad because of road rage.
Remember, negative only brings on negative, but positive brings on positive, so have a positive outlook and a positive attitude about life.

If you learn to live within your means, accept things as they come, and control your anger, passion, desires, temptations , hunger, thirst, love, affection, feelings, tastes, etc etc you can be said to be satisfied in life. Even to wish to be satisfied in life would itself mean you would never be satisfied.!!!!

Most important is a Close Circle of People you can be yourself with...whether family, friends, or acquaintances...for fun & laughter in good times...support & understanding during the rougher stretches.

Nothing else Really Matters!

Poor or Rich, Healthy or Sick, Black or White...You need someone in your life to share your thoughts, feelings, emotions, successes & failures with.

are you sure you are wanting satisfaction----satisfaction in life breeds stagnation----you should find satisfaction with the blessings you find along the way and be in daily pursuit of accomplishment for your life for it is thru the quest within life that the rewards come and the rewards can be at least temporarily satisfying
