Im buying a car and the people im buying it off are saying its Category D ?????

Category D means repairable salvage. Minimal damage.Probably not structural,but insurer did not want to repair. Often stolen and recovered after claim has been paid. Does not need VIC inspection to return to road. recorded with AA HPI etc. Hope this helps

In the USA cars are put into Categories when renting a car. The rating system depends on the rental agency.

Categories A,B,C,D,E.... are the terms used to define the price segment of the Cars.
Category A is supposed to be the cheapest.. and it keeps on increasing with every alphabet!!

category "D" means car which cost more tan 20 lakhs or above like mercedes C class etc
