I feel that any reference to "beauty" brings a physical image to mind, no matter the subject observed... and is to some degree, affected by the current definitions of 'beauty'. However one's attitude or general manner, whether 'refined' or otherwise, is a feature separate from their physical appearance. Thus an ugly person by unanimous opinion can be seen as 'beautiful' by the mannerisms or attitude. Likwise, the most beautiful individual by any standard may well be seen only as 'ugly' by a majority, due to their poor or outrageous attitude or manner toward others.
It still holds, there simply is no one definition of that which is beautiful or not... except in the eye of one who beholds it.

the refined attitude. Someone who can carry themselves well would attract others. But someone who is physically beautiful, may be a sore in the eye without the right attitude.

A little from column A and a little from column B. Paris Hilton may be more beautiful than Mother Teresa in some ways, but not in others.
