In the Star Trek fictional universe, transporters are teleportation machines. The devices convert a person or object into an energy pattern (called dematerialization), then "beam" them to a target, where it is reconverted into matter (rematerialization). The target can either be another transporter or a virtually arbitrary specified site.

A transporter transports objects in real time, accurate to the quantum level. Heisenberg compensators remove uncertainty from the subatomic measurements, making transporter travel feasible. Further technology involved in transportation include a computer pattern buffer to enable a degree of leeway in the process.

By the way...Scientists have transported a photon. It's a start!

Very cleverly. There is a technical manual available. If I understand the principle correctly, the subject for transportation is analysed down to a sub-molecular level, this analysis is rendered as data and stored in the pattern buffer. the data in the pattern buffer is then transmitted to the transporter the other end, this transporter then does what the other one did, but in reverse and reassembles the subject from the information in the pattern buffer.

hi Doug. To coin a word made (in)familiar and wide-spread with assistance from the full John McInroe ... you are able to not be severe?! :) i respect superstar Trek and performance performed because it grow to be first shown over the following contained in the united kingdom in 1969 yet sorry to disillusion in spite of the undeniable fact that it truly is not authentic. even as lots of the then fictional "technologies" has on condition that come to bypass (communicators - cellphones; needle-a lot less injections etc), the transporters were completely fictional and all performed with particular consequences. in spite of the undeniable fact that there are experiments being performed at the second one and they have effectively transferred particular atoms from one position to a distinct and that i study that this can carry about issues and perchance even human beings contained in the destiny. even if that holds authentic remains considered yet please relax certain no one has died so no prefer to objective it except to make positive the particular consequences regarded as life like as they could. :)

Magic.

There is no known way that a transported could work.

Start Trek is not real, remember.
