Carefully look at the skin, is it nice and healthy, original color, not flaky or scabby?
If it looks good just wait ans see if the hair grows back, sometimes a lot of hair can fall out all at one time, it's rare but it can happen.
If you notice anything different, apatite, energy, you know you bunny! Then go to a vet and have them look at it.
In the meantime keep the bunny out of the direct sunlight, no coat could make for a bad burn.
Watch it, carefully....

Your rabbit is probably fine. It could be going through a molt, where it is just molting its old fur out. Some rabbits molt a little bit at a time and others molt in big chunks. Here's what you can do: Go to a carpet store and see if they'll give you a free sample carpet pad. Normally, they have tons of these that they have to get rid of. Put your rabbit on the pad of carpeting and get a small bowl and fill it half full of water. Have a waste basket nearby. Lightly dip one of your hands in the bowl of water and rub your hands together. Your hands should be lightly wet. Now rub your hands over the rabbit's fur from the back of the neck to the rump. The loose fur will stick to your slightly wet hands. When your hands are full of fur, rub your hands together over the waste basket so the fur falls into the basket. Repeat this process for about 3-5 minutes. If your rabbit is in a molt, you won't get all of the excess fur out in one sitting. Brush your rabbit out with your hands like this once a day. Eventually all the old loose fur will have molted out and a brand new coat will take it's place. It may take 1-2 months for the rabbit to fully molt all of its old fur out. Rabbits normally molt their fur out come summer or fall.
There are a couple of other possibilities that it also could possibly be so I'll list them:
1.) If you have two or more rabbits together. They could be fighting and that's why you see fur all over the place.
2.) If it's a doe, she could be pulling fur because she thinks she is going to have babies. Doesn't me she is going to have babies, because it could be a false pregnancy.
3.) If you notice fur missing or looking like it's been chewed off from the inside of the front or back legs or stomach, then you probably want to take it to the vet. The rabbit could possibly not be getting the right nutrition it needs or it could have a skin problem caused by a number of factors.
4.) If you look behind your rabbit's ears at it's neck and you see a line of scabs around it's neck, it probably has fur mites and needs treated for them.
I've been raising rabbits for 24 years and know much more about them than most.

take it to the veterinarian, or kill it and free it (or free yourself if that's the case) of the problem
