I asked a question 'what is your mood right now' some 4-5 days back.
I dont think there is anything indecent in the above question and there have been infact 15 answers for that.
I found to surprising that the question was removed after 2 days of asking .....why any idea?

Well Perhaps YAHOO ANSWERS did not like your question which appear to solicit something by indirectly asking such an innocent harmless questionbut could be interpreted to speak volumes of the intentions and YAHOO did not want to provide you an open platform for such responses and it could encourage more people to seek/solicit people who are in a mood to meet people who are in undecided mood.

Probably because someone reported it as "Chatting."

Next time, put it in "Polls and Surveys."

I asked "Mosquitoes - do they prefer one blood type over another?" [a friend told me she had heard that, and I found it hard to believe] with some additional details about mosquitoes being drawn to body heat, or scent, and THAT got removed.

Why?

I had a couple of excellent, scientific answers, too.

Go figure....

Someone probably reported you. I don't see anything wrong with the question though.

hmm. was it removed because an answer, and not your question, was breaking the rules??
