That's a toughy... there are so many answers that can be given to that. I think it would depend on the demographics of an individual... but for me, some of the most important things are: free will, the ability to think, the ability to act, freedom, life, the freedom to love whom I choose. There are others as well. But these are the top.

Life is the dearest thing to all living beings.

Avoidance of death and continuation of life is what every living organism tries its best to do. They try to do it personally for themselves, they try to do it for their relatives, and they try to do it for their species.

When life ends, then everything else in that life also ends. And that's why nothing else can be more important than life itself.
