It is not true. Studies have been done to show that goldfish can remember up to a month, can tell times of day, and can be trained to do certain tasks. Look it up on the internet sometime.

This is a myth,there is scientific truth to prove that they have not got a 7 second memory,goldfish have been trained to do things such as press against a button every few minutes proving,that in order for them to keep pressing against the button say every 10 minutes they must have a longer memory span!
