How can you get Gmail? I've heard you need to be invited to become a member. If this is true, can someone invite me?

you need to be specially invited by somebody who has already a gmail acc.

Yes Its True, But If u need to get invited, first the person who's gonna invite u must have his own Gmail Id and then he/she could invite u to register for the Gmail account.

The other way aside from invitation is the cellphone configuration to get your new Gmail account. I think is only applied to Asia where I reside.

It is true that you need to be invited, and sure if you want ill invite you right now. Once you start up your account, you can invite up to 50 people to join. A friend of mine invited me and i absolutely love it.
