my friend told me about a taxi ride her uncle took recently. it was all going well until they got held up in a traffic jam. Her uncle leaned forward and tapped the driver on the shoulder to ask if he knew another route, and the driver almost collapsed with fear. he composed himself and then explained that before he was a cab driver he had driven hearses for a living ....

paranormal things tend to like me. I'd be more worried about the guy taking the corpse for a ride on a lonely dark country road, but I'm always armed, so sure I'd take the ride. Ghosts are far less dangerous than people

No. There was an instance of this a while ago. A policeman pulled a driver over for driving in a carpool lane without another passenger, but the man said he was driving a hearse and had a corpse in the back. The driver was still ticketed, and he took the case to court. Of course he lost and had to pay the fine.
