If he is your friends boyfriend then you shouldn't touch, he is her man, not yours and you would be really upset if she hit on your man. Let the relationship run it's course, if they are meant to be together you will get over him and find someone of your own, if they break up, wait a decent length of time then see how he feels about you. But if he does like you after all that, tell your friend first so that she is not shocked when she hears.

If you don't do anything, it will be a living nightmare just trying to suppress it. If you tell them you will be risking your friendship, but it even if you lose these friends, time can heal that rift. Or maybe it won't be such a big deal for them and you could get into a really great relationship.

from my experience it is best to move on and dont say a thing. Try and find something you really dont like about him then everytime you think about it you will be turned off and your friend wont know and will still be there.
